Strand Palace Agencies Ltd. is a fifth generation family owned company. The company’s main activity is food and confectionery manufacture, importation and distribution. The firm exclusively represents a number of companies with world renowned brand names which include Galbani, K.P., McVitie’s, Fisherman’s Friend, Seriously Strong, British Premium Foods, Ulker, Saka and Alpella amongst others.
Distribution is direct to supermarkets and retailers, wholesalers, hotels, food service outlets and restaurants. All of these these client segments are serviced by the company’s sales people on a weekly basis. Orders are collected in real time and distribution is on a next day service and provided for by a fleet of temperature controlled vehicles.
The manufacturing arm of Strand Palace agencies is made up of three manufacturing units, One unit produces and packs nuts, bakers products and chocolates. Another unit produces a wide range of nougat and sugared almonds.
Darrell Lea Foods Ltd. produces a range of extruded snack foods including ‘Twistees’ which is the foremost selling snack on the islands.
Twistees is exported under the Tastees brand to various countries including Canada, U.K., Germany and Libya. Other countries are currently being negotiated with.
Strand Palace Agencies Ltd. employs some 125 personnel. It enjoys a good reputation in the local and international business community, with a firm commitment towards continuous expansion whilst maintaining a personalised service to all clients.
